The SLI-OEM development kit provides a user with all the tools he needs to begin developing applications using the SLI controller. The kit contains several cabling, connector, and LCD options so the user can evaluate and select the best one for his needs.

The SLI-OEM evaluation board is an extremely useful tool for quickly evaluating SLI features using a PC or other DTE. The board converts a standard DB-9 RS232 serial cable input to the SLI cabling form factor. The user can simply sit at a PC terminal program, and type the text he needs displayed, or run one of the Wirz Electronics’ Demo Programs to view the full capabilities of the system.

The evaluation board also has an on board processor which executes four demo screens showcasing SLI’s features. The on board demo is completely self contained and can serve as a field testing tool.
